Labor Certification for Green Card Cleared
I have a good news to share with all. My employer Gaebler Ventures LLC initiated for the Green Card 6 months back. Very first step in employer sponsored green card application is Labor Certification.
Basically this means Department of Labor(DOL) will approve the employer to go ahead and apply for employment-based immigration petition for the employee.
Gaebler Ventures LLC initiated this process around Oct’ 09 and we got the approval in 3rd week of May’ 10. Green card process is divided into 3 stages and filed with different forms and fees over the duration, I successfully cleared first phase. Next will be I-140 that normally takes 3 months for review and approval then I-484 which takes around 6 months. It depends case to case so I don’t know how lucky am I, time will tell.
